MAHAKIPAWA CAPITAL The resolution to.reduce the-ordinary share capita! of Mahakipawa Goldfields, Limited, from £37,779 9s to £lB.i?S9 14s 6d, by reducing the nominal value of ordinary shares from Is to (3d, was'confirmed at a special meeting of shareholders in Christchurch last week. In addition, 44,411 shares of Is,, which had not been taken up, were cancelled. Provision was made for the preference shares, which remain at their original nominal value of Is, to participate in dividends to the same extent, as was made possible before the ordinary shares were written down.
