HAYWARD SHIELD CONTEST [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday The annual conference of Federated Catholic Clubs and Societies in New Zealand has concluded. Tho Hayward Shield, which is awarded on a points basis to the club gaining the highest .aggregate in all competitions, was won 'by the Marist Old Hoys' Association, Christchnrch, with 10 points. St. Columba Club, Grey mouth, was second with 7i points,, and St. Bode's College Olcl Boys' Association, Christchurch, third, with seven points.
