DANZIG SWEEPSTAKE
BENEFIT TO HOSPITALS The sum of a share of the proceeds of the recent Danzig Sweepstake, has been received by the Hospital Hoards' Association of New Zealand. Advice that the money had been allocated was forwarded to the association by British and Foreign Concessions, Limited, and the cheque was recently received in Wellington. Following a conference between Mr. VV. Wallace, chairman of the association, and the secretary of the firm, the executive of the association agreed to distribute the money among the 4o hospital and charitable aid boards in New Zealand on the basis of the expenditure of each last year.
