CAMPBELL ROSE BOWL AUCKLAND TEAM BEATEN [by TELEGEArn —I'KESS ASSOCIATION*] WELLINGTON, Monday Defeating Auckland by 3 goals to 2 at the Basin Reserve, the Wellington representative Soccer team won the Frank Campbell Rose Bowl. Tho game was fa3t and interesting, both teams showing good combination. The first spell ended:—Wellington, 1; Auckland 0. Jeffery scored the only goal. Early in tho second spell Kershaw scored Wellington's Becond goal with a beautiful shot., Irie third goal for Wellington was kicked by Craig. Shortly afterwards Auckland's first goal wag secured by Dunemore, and the visitors' second goal came from a kick by Blackie. McL*od. Campbell and Kershaw were the pick of the Wellington team. Blackie and Dunsmore were always prominent for Auckland. Late in tho second half McLeod, the Wellington right half, collided with Gerrard ar«d his right leg was fractured. Kay, the Auckland outside left, hurt sn auklo and was also earned ou the licld.
