The final was played between Woledge, Chissell. Simons. Whitelaw. of Whnngnrei, and Walker, McKay, Robinson, Westwell, of Hikurangi, and resulted in a tie, each team scoring 17 points. As provided by Dominion rules, another game of 21 heads was required to be played, and this game was played this evening under electric light. Tho match was won by Whitelaw by 19 to 18 after a very eAciting game. Only those games affecting the leading teams in each section were played in round seven. Following are results of today's play:— Section A.—Round seven: Bakalich, 25, v. Courtenay, 23; Phillips, 27, v. Steele, 6; Westwell, 18, v. Davey, 12. Phillips, Courtenay, Westwell and Bakalich tied for sec-tion-winner, each having five wins and two losses.
