RETURNED SOLDIERS
WAIUKU BRANCH MEETING About 50 members attended the 15th annual meeting of the Waiuku Returned Soldiers' Association. Colonel Aldred presided. The report and bal-ance-sheet were adopted. Tho resignation of the honorary secretary, Mr. C. V. Williams, was accepted with regret, the meeting recording its appreciation of his services. During the evening Colonel Aldred gave a brief address the finances and method of administration of the canteen funds. Tho following officers were elected: — President, Colonel Aldred; vice-presi-dent, Mr. W. S. Colbeck; honorary secretary, Mr. A. L. Ironmonger; honorary treasurer, Mr. G. V. Williams; honorary solicitor, Mr. S. R. Mason; honorary auditor, Mr. I. X Porter; committee, Messrs. C. 0. Roscoe, F. Xmght, J. McGuire. T. 11. Bloomfield. 1. H. G. Waters, P. Oakden and R. May head; club committee, Dr. Howclen, i iessrs. F. Knight, C. 0. Roscoe and Clayton.
