KICKED BY RACEHORSE
MAN INJURED AT ELLERSLIE Injuries to the head were received bv Mr. Spenoeley Walker, of 22 Landscape Road, Mount Eden, as a result of being kicked by the racehorse Prince Val near the entrance to Ellerslie racecourso in Green Lane on Saturday morning. The horse was being led by a groom, when it lashed out suddenly, one hoof striking Mr. Walker on the head. He was taken to a private hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition last evening was reported to bo satisfactory.
