HAMILTON CLUB'S OPENING [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Sunday The Hamilton Coursing Club's new season was officially opened yesterday by the Mayor, Mr. F. D. Pinfold, who congratulated tho club on the improved nppointmonts it possessed. There were fair entries in the two events that were run. The final results wore:— Open Stakes.—Mr. H. Fletcher's Mastin Fearnought beat Mr. K. Smerdon's King Paph by three points to one. In the novice • event Mr. W. Coombe's Gold Jacket beat. Mr. E. E. Huon's Dark Prince by two points to one.
