STEAMER WRECKED
. ALL ON BOARD SAVED TOTAL LOSS NEAR HONGKONG (Received April 14, 5.5 p.m.) HONGKONG, April 13 The Norwegian steamer Fjorden (1733 tons), bound for Hongkong, struck a rock and sank at Cheungchao, outside the harbour. The ship, with her cargo of rice, was lost. All on board were saved, including the five European officers and tho Chinese crew. Rescue work was carried out. by Chinese fishing junks and a polico launch.
