NEW MAYOR OF CHICAGO
democrat leader elected (Received April 14. fi.35 p.m.) CHICAGO. April 13 Mr. Edward J. Kelly, aged 57, a civil engineer and a Democrat leader, was elected Mayor to-day by the City Council. Mr. Kelly succeeds Mr. A. Cermak, who died recently after being shot by an assassin at Miami on February 15.
