AMERICAN CRUISER
NEW VESSEL LAUNCHED POCKET BATTLESHIP MODEL (Received April U, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK. April 13 Tho New Orleans, one of tho so-called treaty 10,000-ton cruisers under construction, was launched at the Brooklyn navy yard to-day. It is similar in some respoets to the famous German 'pocket battleship. 1 lie cruiser is armed with nine Bin. guns in three gun turrets, eight sin. anti-air-craft guns and four aeroplanes with two launching catapults.
