TWO PEOPLE SCALDED
CHILD FAIRLY SERIOUS patients, an elderly woman and a child, both suffering from scalds, have been admitted to the Auckland Hospital. The child, Albert Marsdcn, aged 2\ years, suffered scalds at his parents' home early on Thursday evening. Tho child is believed to have capsized a kettlo of boiling water, being scalded on the chest. The boy, whoso father, Mr. A. Marsdcn, lives at 20 West View Road, Grey Lynn, was in a fairly serious condition last evening. As a result of accidentally knocking over a bucket of boiling water at her homo yesterday afternoon, Mrs. Bella McLeod, aged 67, of 78 Green Lane, Remuera, received scalds to both legs. She was taken to hospital in a St. John ambulance. Her condition last evening was not serious.
