v f, 3 A TIME OF JOY 0 V P § & °t DEAR BOYS AND GIRLS,— k £f The Easter season comes to us again in the calm and tranquil iy X beauty of an autumn that has turned into a real Indian .summer. fc cjj Sunshine^/and warmth have gladdened our hearts for weeks past, Vt Cf and if the present promise holds good the Easter holidays will 0 hJ be a time of joy and happy relaxation from the bonds of toil T (J and study. |\) Eastpr, like Christmas, is something more than a time of ,f/j <$ holiday-making and fun, however. It is the most joyous festival ft of the Christian world, for it brings two wonderful things—fulfil- |b ment of the heavenly promise of Christmas and the majestic \, eft triumph of the Resurrection. §X k To-morrow all the churches will be decked with lovely Easter $ lilies, emblem of the spotless life laid down in the dark tomb on \V clr Good Friday, to blossom again in transcendent beauty on the Fk 0 first Easter Sunday. . . . What a beautiful association it is. that Jfcj ft of Easter and a Garden, the sweet purity of the flowers and the § glory of a resurrected Life that was the purest and most beautiful £» ever lived upon this earth! §X A This thought is expressed in the Easter verses published in £ §1 our page to-day.
