NEW ZEALAND INTERESTS [from: our own correspondent] TORONTO, March 7 The Alexandra room of tho King Edward Hotel, in Toronto, was once again the scene of a gay party, when members "of the New Zealand Association entertained at one of their midseason dances. The guests were received by tho president, Mr. Douglas Banks, Mrs. Banks, and Mrs. J. W. Collins, wifo of the New Zealand Trade Commissioner, the latter being away on official business in New York and Boston. The committee in charge of the party was as follows: —Mr. D. Banks, Mr. C. L. Kncxx, Mrs. E. C. Williams, Mr. G. Morrison, Mr. R. Toswill, Mr. J. B. Willniott, Mr. C. M. Re.id, Mr. A. Carson. Among the many present were Mr. and Mrs-. D. Banks, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Williams, Mr. and Mrs. .1. K. Ross Duggan, Mr. and Mrs. Irving, Mr. C. E. Critehley (Assistant Trade Commissioner), and Mrs. Critehley, Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Moffitt, Mrs. J. Johnson, Mr. Craick, Mrs. J. W. Collins, Mr. Geo. Bunting, Mr. and Mrs. W. Harrison, Mr. and Mrs. W. Kellock, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Southgate, Mr. and Mrs. Morland Bowman, Dr. Robb, A[ r 1. T. Chasson (Niagara Falls), Mr. G. Morrison, Nliss Bernice McGuffin. Miss Lousich, Miss Hewitt, Mr. C. Reid, Mr. A. Carson, Misses Marah and Sheila Johnson, Miss Beatrice Stephens, Mr. J. Willniott, Mr. R. Toswill, Mr. and Mrs. Riddell, Mr. and Mrs. Gledlev, Mr. L. G. Knox, and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond. Members of the New Zealand Association held a very enjoyable bridge evening recently, in tho Piccadilly Inn in Toronto. Many members and their ffiends were present, and after the games a delightful supper was served. A recent engagement announced was that of Miss Beatrice Stephens, of Toronto, to Mr. John W llmott, formerly of Christ-church. Mr. Gerald 0. Morrison was recently successful in being appointed a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Chemists
