BUILDING AT TAURANGA
VALUE OF PERMITS ISSUED [from our own correspondent] TAURANGA, Thursday The borough inspector, Mr. It. Bamberry, reported to the Borough Council this week that permits for buildings to the value of £3940 were granted last month. For the year cndefl March .*3l last, permits to the value of £1(5,104 were issued, approximately £2700 less than last year. The number of new dwellings was 13 and Ihere \ve: - e four flats. During the past five years 103 houses have been erected in the borough.
