April G A message was received by the House of Commons to-dav from the King saying he would gladly give directions for the carrying into effect of the proposal to honour the memory of " that eminent statesman and devoted servant of his country," the late Earl of Oxford and Asquith. This object is to be achieved by the erection of a memorial tablet in Westminister Abbey.
