MOTOR-CAR BURNED

DISCOVERY ON ROADV\/AY REMOVED FROM NEWMARKET A two-seater motor-car -with the bodywork extensively damaged by fire was discovered on the Panmure Road, Tamaki, shortly before 8 a.m. yesterday. The car, which is owned by Mr. Arthur Fariar, of Broadway, Newmarket, had been left in Sarawai Street, Newmarket, the previous evening. It was found by a butcher's boy when on his rounds. When the police arrived it was still smouldering. The engine and front of the vehicle were not damaged.

Damage was done to the upholstery of a motor-car owned by Mr. S. W. Watson, of Dublin Street, Pukekohe, when it caught fire at the lower end of" Albert Street yesterday afternoon. The flames were extinguished by the city fire brigade.
