EVENTS AT PUKEKOHE [from our own correspondent] PUKEKOHE, Friday Children from 12 schools in the district competed to-day at the fifth annual sports arranged bv the Franklin Primary Schools' Athletic Association. Keen interest was displayed and some excellent performances were recorded. The gathering: was held on the Pukekohe Domain and the schools taking part. were Pukekohe, Puni, Mauku. Waiau Pa, Patumahoe, Buckland, Bombay. Paerata, Paparata. Pukekohe East. Harrisville and Tuakau. Record entries were received. For the second year in succession Puni won the points cup. The school also won the overhead ball. Pukekohe was successful in b °ys relay race und the tug-of-war. TV?
