ABSORBING NEW SERIAL
" WATCHING EYES " Publication of a new and intriguing serial entitled " Watching Eyes " is commenced in the columns of the New Zealand Herald Supplement this morning. It concerns Jim Silver, who, by the death of a relation, comes into a roomy old house on tho Devon Coast. This coast is used by a gang of smugglers as a depot for cocaine and other smuggled stores; and with the exciting events connected with the suppression of the smuggling gang is intertwined the plot of a very delightful love
story.
