OFFER TO TRADE
FIRM IN THE WEST INDIES An inquiry as lo the possibilities of developing trade with New Zealand was received by the Auckland Manufacturers' Association yesterday from a firm of shipping and commission agents at Barbados, West Indies. Tho communication was originally sent to tho office of the British Trade Commissioner for Now Zealand, and was referred to the association by tho Hon. R. Masters, Minister for Industries and Commerce. "Owing to the now trade agreement between Great Britain and her colonies and Dominions, it has occurred to us that there may be a chance of doing some business with your country in tho lino of butter and produce." tho letter stated. It was added that lite firm was desirous of fostering closer trade relations. Tho association decided to make tho letter available to interested manufacturers.
