WAIOEKA ROAD BLOCKED
BIG SLIP IN GORGE [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] OPOTIKI, Monday Heavy rain this morning brought down a big slip in the Waioeka Gorge just after service-cars from Gisborne to Opotiki had passed. The full extent of the slip is not yet known, but 30 men are at work clearing it and it is possible that the road will bo rcopeneda to-morrow.
