Taylor, by 30 points to 14.' ; CHAMPIONSHIP IN NORTH [from OUR OWN correspondent] WHANG AREI, Monday The semi-final of the competitions for the North' Auckland championship banner, played under the auspices of the North Auckland Bowling Association, was completed on Saturday afternoon. A, full-rink team representing the Hikurangi Bowling, Club, winner of the central section, met a team representing the Maungaturoto Bowling Club, winner of the southern section, the former winning by 29 points to 18.' The J match was played on the Kensington Bowling Club's green in perfect weather.. Hikurangi will meet last year's holders, Kaikohe, in the final on the latter's green at an early date. Foy had two lives and now a bye and will play the winner of the gftme between Wolfenden and Creagh in the final.
