S.M., with breaches of the motor vehicles regulations. I?pk. O'Neill admitted operating ft lipftvy motor vehicle in Hank Street, while carrying n greater load than that which it was entitled to carry, and also with operating two lorries with l out having first obtained a licence. The traffic inspector, Mr. d. It. Ash* tori, paid the lorry Was registered to carry 52$ tons, and bad been tound With a weight of 0" tons locwt. Mr. 11. J. Thomson, for defendant, said the lorry concerned was a sipall one and Was acting as a, feeder lorry to the other two, operating only in the borough. The licence fees had always previously been paid, and the omission in llns instance was ail oversight. Defendant was fined £2 on the overloading charge and £3 and £2 on the other two charges. For operating heavy motor vehicles without having a licence, \Y. Moore was. fined 30b and coMs, and Frank Mclneiney £2 and co'd-s.
