BUSINESS PRESIDENT
MR. S. TAKLE RETIRING An announcement that he would not offer for re-election as president of the Auckland Manufacturers' Association at the annual meeting on Slay 4 was made yesterday by Mr. S. Tattle, who has been president for two years'. Mr, Takle thanked members of the executives for the support they had given during what had been a difficult time for manufacturers. Although the activities of the association were necessarily restricted by tho prevailing poor business conditions, he thought, the organisation could say that something had been accomplished in the interest* of manufacturers.
