OBITUARY
MRS. MARGARET ROLFE The death has occurred at Palmerston North of Mrs. Margaret Rolfe, < at the age of 90 years. Mrs. Rolfe was born at Kaima, New South Wales, and came to New Zealand in 1907. She had lived most of her life since then in Palmerston North. Her husband, Mr. John Rolfe, died 25 years ago. Mrs. Rolfe is survived by 14 children. Those resident in New Zealand are Mr. H. H. Rolfe, of Hamilton, Mr. A. Rolfe, of Dargaville, Mrs. G. Stace.v, of Christchurch, .Mrs. T. Webb, of Ohakune, and Mrs. W. Dalton, of Palmerston North. MRS. A. L. FERNEYHOUGH The death of Mrs. A. L. Ferueyhough, of Market Road, Remuera, occurred on Saturday morning. Mrs. Ferae,yhough was the eldest daughter ' of the late Mr. S. G. Rountree, a manager of the' Auckland Savings Bank, and a grand-daugliter of the late Mr. Robert Bartley, who was one , of the early residents of Auckland. , Mrs. Ferneyhough is survived by her . husband, three sons and two daughters. John McGregor I [bt TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] DUN7SDIN, Saturday j The death has occurred of Mr. John [ McGregor, who was veil known in . engineering circles throughout the Do-« - minion, particularly as senior partner ; of the Otago Foundry, with which he was associated for 39 years. Mr. McGregor was born in Scotland in, 1859, and served for many years as engineer in various intercolonial coastal vessels of the Union Steam Ship Company. His firm built the dredge for the Nelson Harbour Board, and several vessels, including the fine steamer Earnslaw, for the New Zealand Railways Department for service on Lake Wakatipu.
