RABBITS " First, large, ex store, 18s-lSs 6d, 16s 6d-17s. The weekly quotations are based on actual sales of wholesale quantities of carcases of mutton or lamb, or of quarters of beef delivered to Smithfield market and/or London stores. They are compiled by the Quotations Committee, Smithfield. To arrive at the equivalent, ex ship values, one farthing per pound should be deducted from the prices quoted above. MERCANTILE FINANCE LIQUIDATION TO PROCEED Shareholders of the .Mercantile Finance Corporation, Limited, Christphuj'oh, have decided to wind up the company voluntarily. Mr. A. Stewart has been appointed liquidator. Paid capital is £49,733, including 3925 £1 cumulative preference shares. CANTERBURY SALEYARDS LOWER PROFITS EARNED The accounts of the Canterbury Saleyards , Company, Limited, Christchurch, for 1932 disclose a profit of £1974, as against £2332 in 1931, A sum of £1054 was brought forward. An interim dividend absorbed £IOOO and a final dividend of 5 per cent, making 10 per cent for the" year, a similar sum, leaving £2B to be carried forward. The dividend is unchanged. The capital of the company is £20,000. A 10 per cent dividend has been maintained over a considerable number of years.
