HAMILTON BAND CONTESTS
[from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Sunday Arrangements aro well forward for the South Auckland Band ( Contest Union's first contest to be held at Hamilton on Easter Saturday and Easter Monday. There aro 12 entries in the quick step competition, including Whakatane, Tauranga, Waihi, Thames, Morrinsville, Kotorua, Cambridge, Pukekohe, Ngaruawaliia, To Awamutu, Hamilton. There will be about 25 bands and approximately 300 bandsmen. For the boys' solos there are 24 entries, embracing practically every band instrument.
