Friday The enthusiasm with which M,ew season is being anticipated was evidenced by an attendance of about GO members of affiliated clubs at the annual meeting of the Waiuku Rugby Union lust evening. RAMBLERS' CLUB, PUKEKOHE [from our own correspondent] PUKEKOHE, Friday The annual meeting of the Pukekolie Ramblers' Rugby Football Club was held last evening, in his report, the president, Mr. C. 11. Jemison, mentioned that six members of the club had gained a place in the Pukekoho Rugby Union's representative team last season, and thrco in the South Auckland team. TUAKAU, Friday

About 45 members of the Tuakau Football Club attended the annual meeting this week. Mr. A. J. Maiden presided. The club's third grade team was congratulated on winning the championship. The balancesheet showed a credit of £ll.

Officers were elected as follows:—Patron, Mr. W. A. Smeed; president, Mr. J. Allen; vice-presidents, Messrs. Walter Barnaby and J. Wright; secretary and treasurer, Mr. I, W. Peterson; assistant-secretary, Mr. A. Membery; delegates to the Franklin SubUnion, Messrs. O. N. Asher and Maiden; senior selector, Mr, J. Wright; junior selector, Mr. G. S. Rose; third grade selector, Mr. R. V, Wilcox (the captains in each grade are to act in an advisory capacity); coach, Mr. Wright; 'auditor, Mr. A. H. Tapper; committee, Messrs. E. Bush, Wilcox, W. Barnaby, jun., D. Fulton, jun., J. Martick, Membery and I. McGregor. Delegates to the sub-union were instructed to oppose the granting of clearances to any affiliated clubs.

It was decided to enter senior and junior teams, and if possible a third grade team, in the competitions. Mr. W. J. Taylor was accorded a vota of thanks for the uaie of the training paddock ani the erection of a light.
