FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA

ITALIAN'S VENTURE TRIBUTE TO BERT HINKLER LONDON, March 22 Captain Leonida Robbiano, of the Italian Air Force, who hopes to make a record flight to Australia, has postponed the start of his flight until April 7, when he will have a full moon. In the meantime he is returning to Italy for a few days, and will spend the time further improving his aeroplane. Captain Robbiano intends to drop a wreath in memory of Mr. Bert Hinkler over the Alps, where he believes the lost airman's body lies. ,< The French squadron's search for Mr. Hinkler in the Avallon district of France has been abandoned pending further clues. Captain Hope says that, if Mr. Hinkler came down on the Alps, there would be little chance of finding him when the thaw commences.
