An amendment providing that every club | should be represented on tho executive was • proposed by representatives of the Papaj toetoe Club. Mr. Kent pointed out that such , a course would make the executive, unj wieldy and would also tend to give unfairly I large representation to small clubs as coro- ! pared with large clubs fielding a number j of teams in various grades. The executive j should bo choson moro for the individual abilities and enthusiasm of members. Mr. S. White pointed out that to elect tho executive on tho basis of individual clubs would induce partisanship. The proposed amendment was later withdrawn. Pointing out that tho new rule would distribute voting power and would result in greater attendances at meetings, Mr. T. Clark moved that a delegate should not represent more than one club or one sub«association at the same meeting. Provision for the appointment of substitutes was made and tho motion was carried. An amendment providing for the appointment .of a chairman of the executive with the right to preside rA meetings at which the president was unavailable, and one giving power to the executive to appoint persons to act with them in the furtherance of any particular purpose, were carried.
