TOM HEENEY BEATEN (Received March 28, 5.45 p.m.) NEW YORK, March 27 The New Zealand boxer Tom ITeeney failed to last 10 rounds in a bout this evening with Stanley Poreda, of Jersey City. He struggled through nino rounds and one minute 24 seconds of the tenth before the referee led him to his corner. Tho New Zealnuder did well in the first two rounds but it was Poreda's fight after that, and he was awarded a technical knock-out. One of Heeney's ears was cut severely in the second round.
