PAEROA UNION [nY TELEGRAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT] PAEROA, Friday The adjourned annual meeting of the Paeroa Rugby Union was held in tho presence of a very largo attendance. Tho president, Mr. W. Marshall, presided. After considerable discussion, in which various club delegates expressed their disapproval of tho proposal to do away with the present club system, it was decided to retain tho existing clubs. ■ Club representatives intimated that there would bo at least four senior teams in the competition. Junior and third grade competitions would provide several teams. HUNTLY CLUB AFFAIRS [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] HUNTLY, Thursday The annual meeting of- the Huntly Rugby Football Club was held this week, Mr. F. J. Harris presiding. The report submitted by the secretary showed that during tho last «oason the club had entered senior, junior and third grade teams in tho Taupiri Union's inter-cl"h competitions, and although no team was successful in winning its grade, the juniors wero rminers-up. The prospects for a successful 1931? season were very bright. Tho club was well represented in both senior and junior representative tennis of tho Taupiri Union, and one member of the senior team gained Waikaio representative honours.
