UNCONSCIOUS
Unless one is skilled in first aid, it is difficult to know how to treat an unconscious person. First remember that until he revives he should not be given anything to drink. He is unable to swallow and the liquid may go down tho wrong way and cause serious trouble. Before going for help put the patient in a comfortable position flat on his back. Then turn his head to one side. If the face is flushed raise his head slightly, otherwise keep tho head low. Cover him up with an overcoat to keep him warm. , Loosen , all clothing about the neck and upper part of the chest, and prevent people crowding round as he needs liesn air to help bim to revive.
