CROQUET FUNCTION
A very pleasant complimentary afternoon was given on the St. Heliers Bay croquet lawns by the " A " players to the " C " grade players and to Mrs. Brewer. At the tea interval the president, Mrs. Lowe, congratulated the " C " players on their success in winning the banner and on behalf of the " A " and " C " interclub players presented Mrs. Brewer with some books in recognition of her services in looking after the tea arrangements on inter-club days. Progressive croquet was played, the prizes having been presented by Mrs. Friar and Mrs. Warren, and won by Mrs. St. Clair-Inglis and Mrs. LasleH. Consolation prizes were won by Mrs. Ricks and Mrs. Wright. Those present were Mrs. Lowe (president), Miss Appleyard (secretary), Mrs. Negus, Mrs. Foberts, Mrs. W. Bray, Mrs. Friar, Mrs. Warren, Mrs. Gordon. Mrs. Clark, Mrs. St. Clair-Inglis, Mrs. King, Mrs. Russell, Mrs. Porter, Mrs. Gisby, Mrs. Bicks, Mrs. Wright. Mrs. Stevens, Mrs. Wily, Mrs. Las'ett, Mrs. Bigtrs, Mrs. Goldsbro, Mrs. Wilson. Mrs. Browne, Mrs. Brewer. Mrs. Hutchinson. Mrs. Peate. Mrs. G. Laslett, Miss Foster and Mr. Dun.
