SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS
Arrangements linve been made to hold tlio annual Now Zealand ski championships at Mount Cook late in August. Last year (hey took place at Tongariro National Park. The Australian championships will be held in New South Wales early in August and will be attended by a team of from six to eight Japaneso skiers. Owing to lack of finance, it is unlikely tliut a New Zealand team wiU proceed to Australia.
