MAUNGAKI EKI E CLUB

There was an attendance of 40 members at the annual meeting of tho Maungakiekie Golf Club last evening. Mr. C. J. Schnauer presided. Tho report and balance-sheet, which were summarised in tho Herald last Friday, were adopted. Mr. C. J. Schnauer was unanimously elected the first life member of tho club for his services during tho past two years. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr. C. J. Schnauer; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. F. Wiseman and G. A. Hardley; captain, Mr. J lit. Elliffe; vicecaptain, Mr. 11. Morpeth: committee, Messrs. It. Angus, D. D. Holland, J. Jerrat, J. T. F. Mitchell, G. R. Meredith, Mrs. Burton and Miss K. Cbnrton; secretary, Mr. D. R. Garrard. TITIRANGI LADIES' CLUB The opening day of the Titirangi Ladies' Golf Club's season was held. in perfect weather and some good scores were returned in tho four-ball best-ball competition. Tho winners were:—Mrs. O'Leary and Mrs. Spinley, 4 up. Other good cards were:—Mrs. Grevatt and Mrs. Lovett., 3 up; Mrs. Alne and Mrs. Johnston. 1 up: Mrs. Alison and Mrs. Shroff, all square. OTAHUHU CLUB Tho official opening of tho Otahuhu Golf Club at tho Grange links will tako place to-morrow afternoon, when mixed fouTsomes play will commence at one o'clock. Tho formal opening ceremony will bo performed by tho president, Mr. A. Murdoch. Tho prospocts for tho season aro stated to be exceptionally good as there has been an increase in membership in both the ladies and men's sections. NORTH SHORE CLUB The report presented at tho amiual meoting of the North Shore Golf Club last evening stated that there was a credit balance of £209 for last year. This was considered very satisfactory in view of the depression. Mr. N. S. Chalmers presided and there was an attendance of about 100 members. The report referred to the improvements to tho course, six permanent groens having been opened and the courso lengthened. Tho membership stood at 381. Officers were elected as follows:—President, Mr. N. S. Chalmers: vice-presidents. ?'i\ R. N. Iv. Swanston and Dr. J. W. ( ven; secretary and treasurer. Mr. M. L. Wilkins; club captain, Mr. K. QTOROHANGA CLUB [from our own correspondent] OTOROHANGA, Wednesday The annual meeting of the Otorohanga Golf Club was held last evening, Mr. G. 11. Fry presiding over a good attendanco. The report stated that the finances wero in a satisfactory position, due to careful management by the executive, and that tho past season had been a very successful one. Tho following officers wero elected:—President, Miss Hopkirk; vice-presidents, Messrs. C. Irvine, '-i. J Fortescue, G. H. Fry and Dr. C. B. Gilbcrd; club captain, Mr. C.
