ANNUAL APPEAL TO-DAY The Plunkefc Society will make ita annual appeal for funds in Auckland today. It is the aim of the soeietv to prevent child illnesses, and, in addition to its rooms and the Karitano Hospital, to which mothers may take their babies, a nursing service of visiting sisters, w'fafc* visit every quarter of the cityj is maintained. It is on the response made by the public to-clay that the maintenance of the society's work in all its branches will depend
