TWENTY-ONE YEARS TO WAIT
LONDON, March 7
Lord Wavertree, famous sportsman, left an estate worth £838,290, the residue of which, after bequests have been distributed, is to be left to accumulate for 21 years for his great-nephew, Byron Harvey Talbot, aged 16. The youth is expected eventually to receive £500,000.
Lord Wavertree bred many good horses, one of which, Minora, won the Derby for King Edward VIL His own victories included the Grand National and the National Hunt Steeplechase. In 1916 he presented his stud of, racehorses and mares to the British nation to start a national stud.
