VISCOUNTESS RHONDDA
HER MANY ENTERPRISES
Viscountess rthoridda, one of the bestknown of modern women, has written an autobiography, *' This Was My World." It should be of much interest, not only to the general public, but especially to feminists.
Viscountess Rhondda, who has many interests, is a peeress in her own right, and is always fighting for permission for peeresses to sit in the House of Lords. She owns and directs " Time and Tide," the most popular weekly paper for women, and is a director also of the Industrial World. She carries on the many great enterprises of her father, the first Lord Rhondda. Her reminiscences deal largely with the suffragette campaign and with her later work in connection with the Ministry of Health, food control, and national service. Finding that London life and her many interests left 110 time for writing, Lady Rhondda wrote the whole of this book during her holidays. It has taken four years to complete.
