MILK PRICES
Sir, —It would bo interesting to know how much the F. and V. Association are paying the farmers for milk—according to my informant, a farmer, in the vicinity of 3d a gallon. How long can the producers sell at that price before going bankrupt 1 It is up to the housewives to insist on paying their old milk vendors at least 4d a quart, so that the farmer will have a little return. If the vendor gets a fair price for his milk, he naturally will pass on a fair price to the producer, who after all is the man who does the wor k. Chin Out.
