An anti-cyclone is centred near Adelaide. ' Indications are for moderate? to strong winds, reaching gale force in places. West to south-west winds in the far south If elsewhere north-west to west, a more definite southerly change moving up from the south to-morrow. Seas rough about Cook Strait and on the West Coast, elsewhere moderate, but rising later on the east coast of the South Island. In the eastern Tasman Sea, strong northerly winds at first,' except in the far south, but a change to strong southerlies advancing from tho west. A gale is likely in the far south. Seas rough to heavy, the weather will be cloudy to overcast, rain being probable at first in western and southern districts, with some heavy falls on the west coast of the South Island, later rain extending to most of the eastern districts.
