COW AND FOAL
A few years ago, when my grandma lived in England, a friend of hers had a cow who mothered a foal. It happened like this. After the foal was born, its mother died, and so the young foal, no doubt feeling lonely, the cow had also lost its calf, went and made friends with the cow, and soon the cow was feeding it as its own. My grandma has a. photo of these two together. Have any of our boys and girls ever heard of anything like this before ? > From ERNEST ARMSTRONG. Pukemi ro Junction, Huntly.
