CAMPERS ROBBED
DARING THEFT AT NIGHTMONEY TAKEN FROM CLOTHES [BY TELEGRAPH-j-OWN CORRESPONDENT] TAURANGA, Tuesday A c&ring theft took place at the Hillsdene camping sites between 3.30 and 4 o'clock this morning, when the pocketi of four campers were rifled, sums of money being taken in each case. The thief also broke open an attache case and stole twq necklaces.
Upon retiring one camper placed his trousers under his pillow, another camper placed his under his feet and two other? f hung theirs from the ridgepole of their tent* The small daughter of one of the campers was asleep in a car when she was awakened by the touch of the thief, who was searching the car. She immediately gave the alarm and the intruder made off.
