SWIMMING
POSTPONEMENT OF CARNIVAL Tho Waitenmta Amateur Swimming Club's carnival, which was postponed last evcninc on account of the rain, will be held in the Tepid Baths this evening. The chief events to be decided are the 220vds men's invitation scratch race, and the 220 yds ladies' championship of Auckland. A number of handicap events, two rela.v races, and a water polo match are also on the programme.
