ROTORUA TOURNAMENT ANOTHER THREE ROUNDS M. WALKER STILL UNBEATEN [by TELEGRAM—OWN correspondent] ROTORUA, Tuesday The second day of the Rotorua bowling tournament opened in fine weather, but during the afternoon a few light showers fell, which interfered somewhat with play. There was a good attendance of spectators. Six Tounds wero completed. Maxwell Walker (Auckland) has won all his games up to the present. NORTH AUCKLAND BANNER
[by telegraph—OWN correspondent] WHANGAREI, Tuesday The following teams have been selected to represent the Kensington and Whangarei Bowling Clubs respectively in the championship banner competition for the North Auckland Bowling Centre, to be played on the Kensington Club's green on Saturday:—Britland, McMath, F. Cliff, Giibble (Kensington): Piggott, Mullins, Judd, Cutforth (Whangarei). Other clubs that will bo represented are Russell. Hikuvangi, and Portland. The competition will decide the winner of the central section. The play-off for the championship will be at a Inter date, when tho winners of the northern, southern and central sections will compete.
