ALLEGATION OF ASSAULT
INDIAN HAWKER REMANDED An Indian hawker, Givan Ganesh, aged 31, appeared before Mr. F. Iv. Hunt, S.M., in tho Police Court yesterday, charged with assaulting Thomas McFadden on February 6, so as to cause actual bodily harm. Detective-Sergeant Kelly, who requested a remand until February 13, said the victim of the assault was a one-legged man, and had been rather badly knocked about, with the result that he was in hospital. The remand was granted.
