FIJI MISSION WORK
SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTS A Seventh Day Adventist missionary party of 18 members left by the Aorangi yesterday for Suva. Piistor F. Rudge, who was in charge of the party, made interesting reference to mission activities in the Fiji Group. Mission work was begun, in the islands 30 years ago, ho said, and there were now 2000 church members scattered over 80 islands. Churches and schools had been built, while five small auxiliary vessels were employed to maintain communication with the islands. Vocational training was a feature of the mission's work among the natives.
