FEDERAL LABOUR POLICY
MR. LANG'S OUTLINE NEW ELECTION PROGRAMME SYDNEY, Jnn. SO The keynote of a speech by Mr. J. 'l'. Lang, formerly Premier of New South Wales, at the Country Labour Conference at Goulburn, was tli.it the Australian people at the next Federal elections should return a Labour Government pledged to the unification and control of credit.
The chairman, Mr. Keller, announced, amid tumultuous applause, that lie hoped Mr. Lang would be the next l'rime Minister of Australia.
Mr. Lang's speech was described by an official at the conference as the " new Federal Labour policy for the next Federal elections." The conference carried a resolution milking the socialisation of credit the foremost plank of the Labour Party's policy at the Federal elections.
