In a bulletin issued recently by the American Newspaper Publishers' -Association some striking testimony to the merits of advertising appears. The General Electric Conipinv, makers of G.E. electrical goods states: — " The results secured have, taken tho subject of newspaper advertising out of the list of debatable questions, so far as we are concerned. We know it pays .us, and we intend to use this class of advertising even more extensively. " The u>e of newspapers in our advertising localises the message which we present nationally, and enables us to bring it into the atmosphere oi each community and refer specifically to the distributors and sales people who are prepared to deal directly with tho public."
