GUESTS ON WARSHIP
SHIP'S COMPANY AS HOSTS Over 1000 guests will be entertained by the crew oi IT.M.S, Diomedo this afternoon aL the Devonport naval base when a children's party and an At Home will be given. Invitations have been issued to friends and relatives of the ship's company and the guests will leavo the Auckland ferry teo in a special steamor at 1.45. The ship's band will bo in attendance. The entertainment, which will be given at Sheerlcgs Wharf and on the Diomede, will include a variety of sideshows, while sports will bo held for the children. Tea will be served and the ship's band will render selections. A danco will bo hold in the evening.
